Saint-Germain-Des-Prés, magical word.
It is a unique district of Paris, where various movements of artistic and literary creation kept close and intermingled in a universe of freedom.

The Café de Flore appeared at the beginning of the third Republic, probably in 1887. Its name comes from small divinity sculpture which was on the other side of the boulevard.
At the end of the nineteenth century, Charles Mauras, who, lived at the second floor, wrote his book entitled "Under the Flore sign".
